ICBG 2004 in Malaysia
The Inter Central Bank Games (ICBG) was held in Kuala Lumpur this year (29-30 Aug). And you thought the lady in the picture must be from Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM). Well, no. She was from the Bank of Thailand (BOT). And if you can guess her name, I have a prize for you.
I arrived Kuala Lumpur very late on the 28th. It was past midnight. The bus station was kind of a scary place. I was so glad the the Malaysians met me there.

Yes Senior Minister
It's time to celebrate and this place please, Senior Minister. Couldn't believe what I got myself into. Just organized the Annual D&D and Farewell Dinner for DPM Lee 2 weeks ago, now National Day Celebration. With all these experiences, I should start an event management company.The usual venue for NDC is not available this year. We held it on this vacant floor and it is indeed a minimalist place -- plain concrete floor, bare columns, no shades/blinds. Security was tighter than ever before ... Senior Minister is so tall. His head almost touches the ceiling. The bright side is that we need not have to spend money building a stage.
Glad that this event marked the end of my tour of duty as President of the MAS Recreation Club. And no, I didn't get a pulbic service medal for organizing all these activities. Only the experience, the memories, and this photograph.
