Mom's 80th Birthday
Celebrated Mom's 80th birthday at Noble House. Esther was back from Australia and mom was very happy. So many of her friends turned up as well.

Robert Merton was in town to give a presentation at the first MAS Risk Conference. The airline lost his baggage and the suit he was wearing was a brand new one he just bought.Yes, I was excited to a winner of Nobel Prize in economics. Given my background, I was more excited by Merton's association with Long Term Capital Management (LTCM).
